You can share a direct link to any Little Free Library listed on our map. First open the Little Free Library mobile app and view the map. Tap on any library’s pin on the map, then tap the i icon to view more information. You are now viewing the Library Detail Screen. Tap the share icon in the upper-right hand corner. You will be prompted to copy that library’s shareable link by tapping the Copy URL button. You can also choose to directly share the link to social media, or by email or text.
If you’re a Little Free Library steward, you can view your shareable library link in two places! You can see it on your Library Detail Screen as described above, but you can also see it within the My Library section of the app. Tap on My Library, then tap the library you’d like to edit, then tap Share My Library from the list. Note that your library’s Map Status must be set to Mapped for the link to appear. If your library is not mapped, you will be prompted to change your Map Status before you can share the link.
You can also find your library’s shareable link in the steward web portal. Log in, view your library, then click the Share Your Library button in the upper-right hand corner of your screen.
These shareable library links work with both our mobile app and web map. If you click to view a link on your computer, our web map will open showing that particular library. If you tap on a link in the mobile app, you will prompted to open the app, or download it if you don’t have it. Then the app will open showing that particular library.
