One of the main features of the Little Free Library app is to be a map to help you find registered Little Free Libraries near you. If you don’t share your location with the app, it can’t show you libraries near you because it doesn’t have your current location.
You are not required to share your location. However, if you choose not to, then the Near Me search function will not work. You will still be able to search by other criteria like city, state/province, postal code, and charter number.
Note that you will also not be able to use the current location icon on the bottom-right of the map. That icon only works if you allow the app to access your current location.
