Please note: these instructions are for existing stewards who have already added their library to the Little Free Library world map.
Start by downloading the Little Free Library mobile app. If you don’t want to download the app, you can set up an account through the steward web portal. Whether you’re in the app or web portal, choose to create an account.
When you create your account, be sure to use the same email address that you used when you added your Little Free Library to our world map. Your email address is how we identify that you are the primary steward of a Little Free Library. We can then assign your library to your steward account. Not sure what email you used? Check our world map to see if you shared your email address as part of your library’s listing.
After creating your account, you will receive a verification email within a few minutes. The email comes from noreply@littlefreelibrary.org. Click the link in that verification email, and you’re all done!
Go back to the web portal or mobile app and log in to your account. You should automatically see the libraries you steward listed in the Libraries tab of the steward web portal or in the My Library section of the mobile app. You can tap on any library to edit it. You can manage your libraries on an ongoing basis by logging in to your account in the mobile app or steward web portal at any time.
