A British-Cambodian writer and editor based in London, Bradley was the winner of the 2022 Harper’s Bazaar Short Story Prize and the 2022 V.S. Pritchett Short Story Prize. A blend of multiple genres from romance to thriller, her debut fiction novel chronicles the journey of a civil servant who is offered the salary of her dreams working for a new government ministry gathering “expats” across history to find out if time travel is attainable. April’s GMA Book: Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez

Just for the Summer by New York Times bestselling author Abby Jimenez is the GMA Book Club pick for April. In addition to being the winner of Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” in 2013, Jimenez is also a recipient of a 2022 Minnesota Book Award for her novel Life’s Too Short. Jimenez’s new novel chronicles the story of a character named Justin, whose life seems to be cursed when it comes to romance. Thanks to a Reddit thread, his story has even gained online notoriety.
