The iconic Pizza Hut red roof is popping up somewhere new this fall: your neighborhood. For decades, Pizza Hut’s unmistakable red roofs have been a symbol of pizza nights and good times, and through BOOK IT!, Pizza Hut has spent more than 40 years inspiring a love of reading while rewarding readers with pizza along the way.
Now, Pizza Hut is bringing two beloved pieces of its history together with the launch of “Little Hut Libraries,” limited-edition neighborhood book exchanges designed to look like miniature Pizza Hut restaurants and help make books more accessible in communities. Created in collaboration with the Little Free Library non-profit, in celebration of the convergence of National Book Month and National Pizza Month this October, the Little Hut Libraries will bring free books—and a little Pizza Hut nostalgia—directly into neighborhoods across the country.
Each Little Hut Library will come stocked with books and a select quantity of Personal Pan Pizza gift cards while supplies last, giving readers the chance to enjoy a free pizza as they participate in the book exchange—a nod to the iconic BOOK IT! experience generations have loved. Little Hut Libraries are available now, and consumers can head here to apply to receive one for free and bring an iconic red roof and more good reads to their neighborhood.

Pizza Hut and Little Free Library share a longstanding mission to support reading. This partnership builds on Pizza Hut’s more than 40-year commitment through BOOK IT!, which since 1984 has encouraged generations of readers by pairing reading achievements with one of the brand’s most delicious rewards: a Personal Pan Pizza.
