San Francisco Law Firm Cooley Builds 5 Little Free Libraries for Community

By Sarah Nelson

Last month, employees of Cooley, LLP assembled five Little Free Library book-sharing boxes that were placed with local community organization Las Mañanitas.

“We loved working with Cooley LLP to engage their employees through a Little Free Library build event,” said Sharon Gifford, Corporate Partnerships Director at Little Free Library. “This fun team-building activity provided an opportunity for Cooley to connect with Las Mañanitas — the local organization placing the completed Little Free Library book-sharing boxes in neighborhoods across San Francisco — and the ability to support these libraries for years to come. Definitely a win for everyone involved!”

Three of the libraries were placed by Las Mañanitas at Mission Blue Café, a café committed to building community in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley; Rainbow Grocery, a work-owned co-op in San Francisco’s Mission District; and Café Alma, a café committed to building community in San Francisco’s Bayview.
