Octavo by Marty Neumeier

The adventure starts in Northern Italy when Scarlett and Artie discover a Renaissance-era manuscript written by Leonardo da Vinci’s 15-year old pupil. According to his firsthand account, the two have to solve a gruesome murder in order get the notebooks published. The women quickly realize this astonishing document will give the world a rare close-up view of the real Leonardo—but only if their client doesn’t get his acquisitive hands on it first.
