I love to read areas that I have not had the opportunity to do so.
I am a teacher in a very diverse school and neighborhood. No one here has easy access to diverse books. It’s heartbreaking. I gave hundreds away.
Everyone should see themselves in books!
We need to teach our youth that all people matter, whether black, brown, green or white.We also need to put forth strong women in books too.
My library will always have books that reflect the beautiful and diverse character of my community!
