I think it’s important to support BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) owned businesses, and I love reading, what better way to pick out a book than to head to Loyalty Book Store which is in my neighborhood and get a book.
Everyone deserves the right to read diverse books! It keeps us humble and learn about different things and people.
I believe it shows my commitment to Read in Color and share diverse books with my class.
My library is in a neighborhood with many children. From the beginning I put books that had non White characters. The books do not come back so more books are needed.
