Our library proudly serves the Poway Oaks neighborhood and a Dual-Language Spanish Immersion Title I School.
Franklin Little Free Library is located outside of a school full of diverse students. Our library intends to offer books that students see themselves in. See it, dream it, be it!
As a black woman, I have always cherished the books that sound and look like me. I want to promote this idea in my community.
I’m taking this pledge because inclusion, diverse voices, and authentic representation matter. Also, I wish to continue to develop and expand my knowledge and appreciation of/for the diverse experiences of all of humanity. It makes my mind and imagination richer.
