My partner and I started our LFL to help promote literacy and access to diverse books in our community. We wanted to include access to books that spotlight an array of stories, especially characters whom are LGBTQ+, People of Color, women, different ages, different abilities and more!
To share the importance of diverse stories, experiences and perspectives that help all of us to become more inclusive.
Diversity, coexistence, tolerance, understanding, empathy, kindness, and inclusion are all positive outcomes and goals we come closer to thorough this program.
We are building a new church and hope to attract people of diverse backgrounds.

Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.
The library should reflect the community it exists in. Sheffield Towne is a diverse and wonderful neighborhood built on community. The books in the library should reflect that.
