Kiwanis Clubs Place Little Free Library Book-Sharing Boxes to Increase Community Book Access

By Sarah Nelson

Little Free Library and Kiwanis International have partnered to expand book access in communities around the world. The partnership provides a path for Kiwanis clubs to get books into young readers’ hands through Little Free Library book-sharing boxes.

Many Kiwanis clubs steward Little Free Libraries in their communities, and we’re excited to spotlight some of those projects.

Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro

The Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro partnered with a local construction company and the local school division to help middle school students build three Little Free Library book-sharing boxes.

Assistance with the long term upkeep of the Little Free Libraries will be by the Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro, which already maintains five libraries in Waynesboro.
