You may have seen the story of Sharalee Armitage Howard, a librarian in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, who transformed a 110-year-old tree in her yard into an amazing Little Free Library. In Everett, Washington, resident Sara Sanders embarked on a similar project to create a not-so-little Library out of a 120-foot cedar tree in her yard.
It turns out Howard and Sanders aren’t the only ones to take a dying tree and give it another purpose. Check out the slideshow below to see 11 epic Little Free Libraries carved from trees! If you’re ready to take a road trip to visit all of these amazing Libraries, you can find them all on our world map.
