In our world today it is important to share widely varied people from diverse backgrounds, and learn about their different cultures and history!
Over the past 5 years I have worked to purchase and read works from authors of color in every genre I consume. This pledge is a continuation of that work.
Because there is a huge need to show support for all people and commit to equality and respect for the future generations.
We need diverse books to move our community to a more inclusive and equitable space.
I LOVE diverse picture books and use them in community education any time I can! Books for older readers, too!

To help spread the joy of reading to all children! Every kid should have the ability to read about their culture and beliefs and others!
