In celebration of the National English Honor Society’s 20th anniversary and 100 years of Sigma Tau Delta, both programs are partnering with Little Free Library to expand the global network of book-sharing boxes! NEHS and Sigma Tau Delta have already supported the creation of numerous chapter-sponsored Little Free Library book exchanges through their Chapter Project Grants, and we’re excited to continue this initiative, inviting even more chapters and communities to join the movement.
Building and maintaining a Little Free Library does more than just promote literacy and a love of reading among NEHS and Sigma Tau Delta student members and their communities. It fosters community connections, enhances access to books, encourages sustainability and book reuse, inspires generosity, and offers a platform for cultural exchange.

Want to create a new NEHS or Sigma Tau Delta LFL for your community? Here’s how…
If you would like to start your own Little Free Library book-sharing box, you can save $60 on your order when you purchase a library and NEHS or Sigma Tau Delta Sponsor Plaque ($24.95 value) together. Follow the steps below to take advantage of our NEHS partnership:
- Add your NEHS or Sigma Tau Delta Sponsor Plaque to your cart
- Select which library you would like to purchase for your chapter and add it to your cart
- Please be sure to select the type of Charter Sign you would like to receive (Standard Silver, Bilingual, or Custom) while you are on the library page
- Select your installation method—if needed—from our selection of posts and legs, and add that to the cart
- Lastly, if you are interested in any accessories for your library, please select which items you would like, and add them to your cart
- When you have everything in your cart, move to the check out page and enter your shipping information and payment details.The $60.00 discount should automatically appear on the checkout page.

If you have already created your own book-sharing box, but haven’t registered it, you can get a FREE NEHS or Sigma Tau Delta Sponsor Plaque ($24.95 value) with the purchase of a Little Free Library Charter Sign. Follow the steps below:
- Add your NEHS or Sigma Tau Delta Sponsor Plaque to your cart
- Select which Charter Sign you would like to add to your Little Free Library
- Choose any accessories that you may be interested in adding to your library, and add those to your cart
- When you have everything in your cart, move to the check out page and enter your shipping information and payment details. The discount should already appear.
- Click submit, and get excited about joining the Little Free Library community and being able to take advantage of the additional resources that come with having a registered Little Free Library book-sharing box!
