My library services a diverse patient population, including most who are not native English speakers. I make an effort to include diverse books and bilingual books in our library.
Books, especially for our youngest readers are for everyone and should share every one’s stories! Every story matters!

I have contacted schools from neighborhood and asked for the books they HAVE to dispose of because of our Governor’s Rule of Banned books. They have provided THOUSANDS of books for me to distribute to 10 local free little libraries. I don’t advertise in fear of people removing the books.
