As a 25+year Florida resident, I will fight the ignorance and fear in our government that has led to policies based in bigotry and hate. No book promoting understanding and education about marginalized people and communities should ever be banned anywhere in this nation that prides itself in enduring freedom.

I believe and support diversity. I cannot participate in everyone’s life experience. So, I use books to deepen my understanding.
I celebrate the beauty that is diversity by reading beyond beige for the sake of my sons and children everywhere. My husband is Korean, I am Caucasian, and we are a beautiful blend. Cheers to embracing and celebrating knowledge, equity, differences and all colors and cultures it entails!
