As a former teacher, providing literature that reflected diversity was and is very important to me. I have done my best to continue to keep my library stocked with books that offer others a chance to see a colorful world reflected. Proud to be associated with this initiative! Thank you!
As a teacher, I have always tried to broaden the reading experiences of my students and open the world of diversity and unity to them. During these challenging time, I feel that it is even more important to help build a foundation of knowledge, understanding and respect in young readers.
I live in an area that is not very diverse and would like to share a variety of reading options.
