It is important to share viewpoint from every background, as we are a proudly diverse culture.
My Southside Chicago Lawn neighborhood is very diverse, the children in our Community are really struggling to find educational suppprt, the nearest Public Library is 1.5 miles away thru the toughest Chicago neighborhoods. Our lfl helps provide the children of our neighborhood closer & safe access to books.
We are already doing this, and want to encourage more people to join us in promoting inclusive literature.
Our little summer “village” has a number of young people who visit and read books from the LFL. We want to make sure that everyone is represented.

My neighborhood is diverse and I want to share my love of reading with everyone.
I am a preschool teacher with a very diverse group of young learners. Little Libraries can be an important way to encourage anti-bias and anti-racist views within our communities.
