I believe supporting the Read in Color campaign is a beacon of hope to minorities and I am excited to be a part of something so amazing.
Our Chicago-based children’s literacy chamber band, The Lucky Trikes, is committed to equitable and empowering access and joy for every storytime with music we perform. We will be activating communities near Little Free Libraries that are stocked with Read in Color picture books in 2021!
In the spring, and/or after a Coronavirus vaccine, I hope to open and operate, in front of my home, my own “Little Free Library “stand. I have already saved up quite an assortment of good condition books and magazines. (559) 475-3690 Mikki
I come from a Multi cultural Family. My mother is of Japanese decent. Also , I was raised in the Military Life, ( Thank you to my Father and Husband who served ) which exposed our Family to so much Diversity !
