Black lives matter. BIPOC stories are important. Our world is diverse and everyone should be able to see themselves in stories. We have so much to learn from one another. I pledge to uplift BIPOC voices and read their stories.
Reading is the window to people, places and experiences around the world – through fiction and non-fiction alike. I believe it’s critically important to promote and share diverse books that reflect the “multicultural nature of the world” in which we live in order to build understanding and connectivity.
Love and kindness binds us all together and we can celebrate our differences and open our gifts to the world!
