Because -“You can’t be what you can’t see!” We believe that all races, all genders, all diversity should be able to see themselves in books, media and others forms of visual communication. Let’s shine a light on ways to increase inclusion at every level of learning!

Having collected and authored travel inspired books since I learned how to read, I find my self at 80 years old surrounded by books
from around the world. It is now time to share my ” travel ” library collection with others.
We Read in Color because diversity makes the world so much better. I want everyone in our community to find books in which they can see themselves and learn more about other experiences and worldviews.
