I believe in LFL’s initiative and agree that everyone should be able to see themselves in books. I also believe that by reading diverse books, we can increase understanding, empathy, and inclusion.
We live in a wonderful neighborhood with many kids on our not very diverse street. I want all of the children to feel included by my Little Book Library and to include others of all colors…it’s what Norma would’ve wanted.
Diversity of perspectives enriches my life!
Because it’s important to learn from people of all backgrounds to gain a well rounded world view.
As an anthropologist I have a deep appreciation for diverse cultures throughout the world.

Our focus is on providing exciting books for children & youth. We strive to offer seasonal & national holiday reads to our diverse neighborhood. Occasionally, we offer books for adult readers, too.
