As a retired teacher, I have seen first hand the joy of my students seeing themselves in books!
As a mom & former teacher, I know how important representation is for ALL.
I have taken the Read in Color pledge and fully support this program because our disadvantaged BIPOC community members should have access to books that speak to them and have characters and plots that are representative who they are.
