Everyone has a right to feel that they belong between the pages of the book they are reading whether it be the color of their skin, their religious beliefs, or their sexual identity.
The Little Free Library on Tara Lane pledges to provide diverse books to all of it’s visitors!
We would like the community to get to know us and that we are a Family Day Care where we encourage reading as something to enjoy not just from a learning point.

I believe it is very important to show the kids of today’s era about all of the things that are included in the “Read in Color” movement.
It is especially important for children to read books that feature someone who looks like them, and has some of the same experiences they have. I can’t recommend a book for them if I haven’t read it!
