Everyone should have the same opportunities to live, love, learn and grow, no matter their color, religion, sex, preferences or abilities. We are all humans and must support and love one another!
My little free library is at my office – a free clinic. We are hoping to share diverse books with our clientele and their families, particularly bilingual books whenever able.
It’s an exciting time in publishing, because finally traditionally marginalized groups are now spotlighted and celebrated and their work is rightfully sought after. We are all better when we read and share as many diverse stories as we can.

We need to make every effort to dismantle white supremacy culture; understand bias to reduce/eradicate harm; and be anti-racist. Offering books that support anti-racism, LGBTQIA, disability, secularism and marginalized representation is a message to our community and could create change and action through deeper understanding of the books’ content.
