We are all welcome as children of God in this world of many colors.
Reading books that include different abilities, cultures, beliefs and skin color helps us all to relate and change our attitude towards difference. Kids are kids no matter their backgrounds. Hopefully anyone opens a book, reads of a character that thinks, feels, and loves the way you do, you feel stronger

I want the books in my LFL to reflect the diversity of the neighborhood it’s in. I read diverse books because I love good literature and learning about lives that are not like mine.
I love books and I love reading books that represent my culture.
