Our uniqueness collectively makes us stronger! It needs to be celebrated.
Our book offerings need to reflect the diversity of the people – young and old – who are visiting the Little Free Library. Everyone is welcome to browse and we hope that they will find books written by and featuring people just like them when they do.
Diversity is the most important element of reading. If we have no diversity we learn nothing.
I believe in the diversity of thought, race, ethnicity, gender, age, social class, religion, national origin, political beliefs… By reading & supplying my LFL with a diverse repertoire we break down barriers & create a better world & community. We become global citizens. My city needs help understanding these benefits.
Reading books from around the world by authors of every color is the focus of my little free library.
