Love Your Melon began with the simple idea of putting a hat on every child battling cancer in America. In 2012, they started with a goal of giving 45,000 hats, but have since given over 190,000 hats to children battling cancer. Additionally, they have donated over 6.2 million dollars to the fight against pediatric cancer. This winter, we were ecstatic when we learned they also wanted to bring book sharing to their headquarters by installing a Little Free Library book-sharing box!

In connection with the launch of their library, Little Free Library stewards and fans can now show their support of both organizations by sporting official Little Free Library-branded Love Your Melon hats! Available in both a Pom and Beanie style, these hats will make trips to local little libraries much more enjoyable during the cold winter months!
