We’re excited to announce the debut of Little Libraries, Big Heroes, a new picture book from award-winning duo Miranda Paul and John Parra! The book tells the inspirational story of how our late founder, Todd H. Bol, started the Little Free Library movement. Accompanied by gorgeous full-page illustrations, Little Libraries, Big Heroes celebrates the power of a single person to change the world.

To celebrate the book’s upcoming release, we’re hosting a 100-book giveaway! Fifty winners will receive two copies of the book: one to keep, and one to share. Enter the giveaway here!

This giveaway is one of many we’re doing all year long as part of our ongoing 10th Anniversary Celebration; the contest runs through August 26. (Sign up for our e-newsletter at LittleFreeLibrary.org/newsletter-signup to be the first to know about future book giveaways.)

Little Libraries, Big Heroes grew out of my knowledge that one person can make a difference,” says author Miranda Paul. “I love to champion everyday heroes who are working at the grassroots level. Stewards are ordinary heroes and the gift they give their communities should never be seen as too small to celebrate.”

The book, which begins with the story of Todd’s childhood as a struggling reader, is getting rave reviews. “The way the text traces Bol’s big idea back to its emotional source offers a path to heroes literary and ordinary both,” says Publishers Weekly.
