Help Raise Funds for the Little Free Library Nonprofit

Raise Awareness and Funds for Little Free Library

If you’re ready to share your excitement and raise funds to support the Little Free Library nonprofit organization, both Facebook Fundraisers and House Parties are fun and effective ways to bring others into the Little Free Library circle of supporters.

When you raise $100 or more for Little Free Library, you’ll qualify to receive a 10th Anniversary Commemorative Medallion for your Library! (See below to request your medallion.)

A Facebook Fundraiser is easy to set up and offers a convenient way for friends and family to donate to a cause you care about. You can get started in just ten minutes—here’s how:

1. Click here to start a Facebook Fundraiser.
2. Edit the goal amount and personalize the description of the fundraiser if you wish.
3. When you’re ready to go live, click “Create” at the bottom of the pop-up window.
4. Be sure to share your fundraiser and thank people as they donate. You may want to jumpstart your fundraiser by having a couple people ready to make donations right away.
5. After your fundraiser ends, if you raised $100 or more, fill out the form below to request a 10th Anniversary Commemorative Medallion!

Thinking About a House Party?

It doesn’t need to be complicated: pick a date and invite your friends, family, neighbors, or colleagues over for a celebration—it can be as formal or informal as you like. We suggest offering some snacks and beverages, and letting everybody know that you will give a presentation during the event.

The goal of the presentation is to encourage people to donate to support Little Free Library’s mission. You could bring in a guest speaker, play a short video, or go through a PowerPoint presentation (available on the House Party Kit page). You know Little Free Library—you can do this!
