Detroit Little Libraries gave 13 local artists a blank library and asked them to transform the Libraries with their art. (Psst! See more photos of the event and the beautiful Libraries on display here.)

The exhibit, “Little Library Originals: A Collision of Art, Literacy and Community” opened on January 15 and will continue through April 24, 2016

Little Free Library Executive Director Todd Bol attended the opening and mingled with the crowd.

There was live jazz music by Metro Detroit Underground and a continuous slideshow of notable Libraries in addition to the artist Libraries on display.
